Review-Don2,the king is back!

Performances-Shahrukh Khan as Don is very good in the movie for all bad reasons.His character is set with flawless dialogues filled with lots of grudges and scratches and no doubt he does as effectively as in Anjaam,Darr,Baazigar and Don. When compared to his pre release Ra.One,Shahrukh is praiseworthy and the character suits him well.Cent percent job by him,he holds the every breath of his character till the last second! Priyanka Chopra as Roma,the cop is tolerable!!Every minute of chase between Roma and Don is well sketched! Boman Irani fits as a negative innocent character,Kunal Kapoor is ok.Laara Dutta has just smiling scenes throughout.

What's Good?- movie's stylish and interesting presentation,dialogues,some action scenes,chase between Don the dog and his wild cat Roma and Shahrukh's screen presence.

What's bad?-illogical ideas and any possibilities for Don inspite of whatever securities. Only Don's character has been focussed and seems script has been checked and re-checked only for him,other characters have been totally overshadowed!

Overall-Director Farhan Akhtar has given his best, totally the movie has nail biting thrill and interesting sequences, would love to see more portions between Shahrukh and Priyanka but not ignoring the fact that its not a romantic flick,it can be considered.Script could have been more tighter if other characters would also have some interesting deeds and dialogues to offer instead of only Don.Music has no scope!

Rating-3/5,is an interesting flick,Shahrukh's fan will cry,howl,clap and whistle over his dialogues and poses,movie will work for its star values,style and performances esp by Don,Shahrukh the king is after all back!!!!

Review-Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl

Performances- Power pack performance from not so handsome neither charming, not even like an actor guy Ranveer Singh,yes! it is his second back to back super stunning role after Yash Raj's super hit Band Baaja Baarat (2010). Ranveer Singh as various character of a con man resembles to many bollywood con flicks but his iconic nature, the body language and his superb characterisation makes the movie to be watched also for him. Anushka Sharma is an another growing super star in B-town,can definitely say that she is the another gal for whom the list of directors in B-Town will be waiting just even for a cameo or a special performance in future, Anushka as a modern girl in the movie is very tentalizing, slim, her attires, persona, expressions all are very impressive, she is not only the beauty on the screen but also someone to be paid for her talent and watched at front rows of the theatres! Excellent Anushka,keep it up! Dipanita Sharma has shown screen presence after a long break, she is fine, new comer Parineeti Chopra, who is also cousin sister of Priyanka Chopra is another person in the movie whose gigs and acts makes u feel happy, though in a small role she has left a great impact,more to see from her in Yash Raj's next venture Ishaqzaade (coming in 2012).

What's Good?- Chemistry between Anushka and Ranveer is something like that of Shahrukh and Kajol on the screen, one would go crazy to see them flirting each other. Performances by the other actors are also good, the post interval portion is more interesting.

What's bad?- Pre-interval portion seems to resemble with many other Bolly flicks like Bunty Aur Babli,etc. Music isn't so impressive.

Overall- Director Manish Sharma of Band Baaja Baarat has tried to create the same charisma on screen between Anushka and Ranveer and he has also succeeded in it in general but the dialogues and scripts lack the naturality as in his previous movie,Band Baaja Baarat. Though the movie moves interestingly but it fails to make audience go in the depth, the auidence will just watch the movie, praise for Anushka-Ranveer, in fact they will be announced the perfect couple on screen in many award functions but the movie will not be remembered at all!

Rating-2.5/5,but seeing Anushka-Ranveer chemistry i will go with 3/5, will get mix response from the audiences, its only for light movie lovers, no seriousness or emos involved during the watch!! Average Entertainer.

Review-The Dirty Picture

Performances- Vidya Balan as 80's south sex siren Silk Smitha is unexpectedly bold, beautiful throughout and you would think Vidya a sex symbol??Definitely YES!!! She looks too terrific in her act, her voice command, body language, character is absolutely neat and would create hangover for many hours.Though she has many vulgar dialogues and scenes but you will not feel a pinch of it even her fiatso body and hanging belly looks stunning and sexy rather than any other Zero Figures in the industry.The movie is all and all for Vidya and point to be noted she will take all possible Best Actress Awards for 2011. Naseeruddin Shah as South Super Star is perfect, his acting skills will again create buzz around as usual, his chemistry with Vidya is a magic over the screen, wow!! Tusshar Kapoor as a writer and a sweet lover is well, he has few interesting scenes too. Emraan Hashmi as a director and a hard core protestor cum lover of Silk is superb, throughout the movie he seems to be interesting.

What's Good?- the story line which is a real life based story, the stunning performances, music by Vishal Shekhar, Dialogues and Vidya Vidya and only Vidya!!!

What's Bad?- the second half goes bit lengthier and slow but it will not mark any difficulties for the audience otherwise the bad portions are hard to find, family audience may find the movie vulgar but hope the indian movie audiences already have digested such movies.

Overall-Director Milan Luthria (once upon a time in Mumbai fame) has done splendid job, the dialogue writer Rajat Arora should also get enough credits and kudos for the movie. The entire portion of the movie has entertainment, entertainment and entertainment and just remember Vidya Balan as Silk Smitha is an entertainment ;)

Rating-5\5, lots of whistles and claps with standing ovation, deserving crawl to theatres for a second watch, hats off to entire crew, esp. Vidya Balan .What a movie yaar!!!

Performances- Shahrukh Khan as Shekhar is fine , trying and fully playing the comic version. Shahrukh as G.one is comparitively more better than Shekhar, one can just imagine how Shahrukh can do justice to a superhero character but u should not forget that this time its a super hero with a heart. Yes ! his fans will not be disappointed. Kareena Kapoor doing a perfect modern mom with lots of slangs to her mouth, the romantic Kareena cant be seen much this time. Otherwise she is fit for her attitude,little bit of drama and all those humorous acts. Arjun Rampal as Ra. One is a perfect villian.Though he doesnt know acting much but he fits for his villianous attitude and sound. Armaan Verma as Shahrukh's son is noteworthy, he stands out with his act. Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra in a guest appearance are waste of time,the sequence in which they have been introduced is totally bakwaaas!!! Superstar Rajnikanth's guest appearance isnt also so impressive but with due respect its an honour to see him on the screen.

What's Good?- the special effects, songs and  performances!!

What's Bad?- the starting of the movie with a action sequence between Shahrukh and Sanjay is not good at all, Climax is also not so thrilling as expected, the story can be predicted very well.

Overall- Anubhav Sinha, director of bumper flop Cash (2007), is the director of the movie who has tried every aspect to bring out his best but his efforts get deemed at times,the movie being based on video game character fails to bring the humanly thrills and curiousity throughout.The movie has been all and all carried out on the backbone of special effects. The fact cant be denied that with this movie Bollywood film has crossed another level of special effects and a superhero role,this trend will be further continued with its sucess. Though the movie has already set opening records internationally beating other major hits this year but the movie isn't as much as expected.

Rating: 3/5,the movie isnt as exciting as promos show,watch it if u r a fan of Shahrukh, worth for kids, watchable for adults also, simply.. just a timepass!!

Performances-All new comers have acted well and showed their possible skills but what can they do if the script lacks strength?

Overall-Its Yrf youth creative team presentation after their average hit Luv Ka The End(2010), the movie was expected to be much better than their pre-release but the story is not much more beyond that of Facebook, instead of watching the movie its better u surf facebook. Some short gigs isn't enough to lure audiences. Though the movie has already done a fair business due to its low budget and high promotions but its not worth at all. The star cast has given their up to and they do have future in other flicks as well but the whole movie goes without any seriousness either it be the humor portion or the romance. The movie is all and all about facebook, showing its disadvantage of being used by others to fool people and showing advantage of making love pairs through facebook.

Rating- 1/5,thats also only for the actors' skill!!

Performances-John Abraham as a dutiful and arrogant serious cop has been presented as never seen before, its his best performance till this date. Though John has worked a lot in developing his good physique but he needs to work more in his acting skills. The script favors him as a serious expressionless cop but many romantic parts goes bored with his unchanged facial expressions. John, do watch lot of movies of Shahrukh, Aamir and Ajay, it will help u bringing ur expressions!! Genenlia D Souza has always been a natural performer in her acting carrier, she never seems to be under or over acted, she does her portion with such a fluency that ull get no words to criticize her. In fact Genelia has bright future in B-town cauz besides looking gorgeous she is talented and can skillfully perform on the screen! Vidyut Jamwal as a negative character in the movie is a person to watch for, the movie is also for him as he is superbly talented villian in the flick, his acting and dialogue delivery is very impressive throughout.

What's Good?-the entire plot, few songs, story, action sequences and acting.

What's Bad?-John's acting is not up to the mark, the story and the movie demands not only his powerful physique but his power pack acting skills also.

overall-Director Nishikant Kamat is all set to  give a hit this year, yes Force writes and rewrites hit, in fact an above average hit throughout. Though its not a masala enterainer movie but gonna give u more entertainment than expected. Some scenes like John and vidyut's topless fight will gather all kudos while Genelia's way of talking will please audience. Similarly John's action sequences will be applauded with claps and whistles.

Rating-4\5, just dont judge the movie looking at its star cast, it has lot more to offer, its much better than many most-promising flops this year! Its a sure shot hit.

Performances- Shahid Kapoor as Harry has done his job perfectly, a countryside boy, a patroit officer, all character suits him and his looks need all praise throughout. Sonam Kapoor as Aayat, a kashmiri girl is well trained and maintained. She impresses audiences with her charming looks,elegance and innocent behaves, given good scripts she has lots nd lots of potential. Supriya Pathak has effectively carried throughout.

Ups-performances by actors and cinematography by Binod Pradhan is awesome, music is the soul of the movie.

Downs-script is disaster, movie offers nothing new and different, blend of artistic cinema and masala cinema goes bland, many scenes in the movie tries to portray many things but is uneffective and audience get no connections about what is happening?, it seems that movie's caption 'timeless love story' is limited only with the changing of time, that also the war time either a hindu-muslim war, Ayodhya masjid war, US Pentagon attack, Mumbai attack etc! Cant understand what the movie was especially about?

On the Whole-for a theatre actor and director like Pankaj Kapur the movie might be much anticipating but it would have been better if he have directed the movie as an audience also, he tries to convey many things but haphazardly, movie is too lengthy to be spent without a 3-4 yawns(minimum), good promotions, better actors and even soulful music cant save this movie from the camaflauge at the box-office.

Rating-2\5,big blunder of Indian cinema, dont even take risk just dont watch, u'll curse director, script writer nd urself too,disappointing!!

Review-Bodyguard

Performances-Salman Khan as Lovely Singh; the macho, simple and innocent bodyguard is perfect for the character, i doubt if there is someone else in B-town who can well portray this character more than him, he surprises with his superb act even better than Dabangg and Ready. Kareena as Divya has done her usual work; full of gigs, attitude and emotions, kudos to her splendid talent and forte!!Despite them, other characters are just timepass and nothing much to do,yaa the fat boy Rajat Rawail as Tsunami is the comic icon throughout the movie and he makes u happy with his comic punches and his T-shirts' slogans!!

Ups-The movie starts with simple storyline,mixes all masala within the interval, goes bit strong during the post interval time and finally ends in a high note, the story is its strength and ofcourse the actors tie them up well. Music by Himesh Reshammiya needs all praise for the foottapping songs and the classic Teri Meri Prem Kahaani, Action sequences as inspired by Hollywood and South indian movies goes perfect with the movie esp that which stars actor like Salman Khan.

Downs-For such masala entertainer all things goes perfect, just do not see the sense in action sequences!

Overall-Debutant Director Siddique who has used his technical hands in sucessful movies like Bhagam Bhag,Hulchul has done a bravura performance directing such a nice concept of remaking Bodyguard which has already been made in Malyalam, Telegu and Tamil previously. The movie goes unnoticeably twisted at the climax which will seek all attentions and the people gonna praise for that!Last but not the least Salman is in full form, he will do HATTRICK with this another blockbuster in a row but not forget Kareena, she is beautiful and evenly complement Salman's character. Katrina's free item dance is so short to be observed well, so its better not to comment more on her dance!

Rating-5\5, blockbuster, not to be missed, highly impressed by Salman.Yes i surrender,,,plz Salman add me on your fan list now!

Performances-Amitabh Bachhan as Principal of a college reminds of his days back to Mohabbatein but here the total issue is social not the romantic one.He is already a qualified superstar so to fault his acting skill would be a shame to us,he infact does his role with a lot of effectiveness, the movie is enitrely for him.Saif Ali Khan as an underprivileged student and a teacher is fine,Deepika Padukone does her role with natural fluency and some of the dialogues delivery portion by her is nice.Prateik Babbar has nothing much to offer,he is completely expressionless,Manoj Bajpai suits the character of a bad; money oriented Principal.

Ups-The social issue raised about the reservation system for underprivileged ones on education policy,money oriented schooling and college education is praiseworthy,some of the fine dialogues sequences keeps the movie issue based,performances by the actors are the movie USPs while music is quite ok with only two hit tracks that unfortunately ends in the first part itself!

Downs-movie being completely a social one it raises many questions and eagerness within the audience regarding the ending of the movie but it ends in a fine note restricting itself to the personal issue that might be unsatisfactory to some audiences.

Overall-Director Prakash Jha who is well known for such genres of movie(Rajneeti,Gangaajal,Apharan fame) have again tried his hand in same genre and yes he his successful to some extent but having watched this one audience will feel that his previous movies were much more issue based,conflicting and satisfactory.Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is ok for such movies were music has less scope.

Rating-3\5,watch it if u like social issue based movies,watch it for acting of the stars,dont run seeing Saif-Deepika pair cauz they are not the romantic filmy pair here!

Performances-Ajay Devgan as Bajirao Singham is the real lion of the movie,he surprises with his deadly,terrible character of cop and again shows his unbeatable talent,he is not only fit in his comedy films like Golmaal series but he gives a macho performance as a honest cop! He is sure this year's Best Actor Award Winner,congrats Ajay!! Debutant Kajal Aggarwal is sweet,charming and shows her supportive talent in this sort of action flick where male are the domineering characters. She does a commendable job!Prakash Raj as Jaikant Shikre is the another hero of the film,though he is a villian as the character but he does splendid job better than many heroes,Singham would be incomplete without him,cheers Sir!

What's Good?-The one hand punches and action cuts of Ajay,dialogues goes noticed with whistles and claps! Enitre movie is interesting.

What's Bad?-Finding Fault of these sort of movies would be injustice,so nothing is bad,if found some just ignore it!!

On the whole-Director Rohit Shetty have tried something new this time apart from his comedy flicks. Yes!he shows it with arrogance and pride which he really deserves too! Being a remake of south movie,it is felt in every parts of the flick which is good because it has been presented well. Some scenes are well edited and mixed the whole credit goes to the editor as well,each time when hero and the villian meets on-screen you can simply imagine a bombastic effect there,climax is the most unexpected part. Some Scenes like meeting of Bajirao and Jaikant,Bajirao being traced,Jaikant's team being mercilessly beaten up by Bajirao are the enhancers for these movie to become a bumper hit! Music by Ajay-Atul duo is already leading the charts! Wished Ajay could have more top less action scenes like Salman in Dabangg,story strength and effect wise its better than Dabangg, Ajay gonna be fav. of many people after this movie,so he must be enjoying his stardom!

Rating-5\5,standing ovation with lots of whistles and claps!If possible I would have given 10/5,this is the movie only for desi entertainer lovers not for the classy ones!

Performances-Hrithik Roshan shows that acting is his forte,he has done splendid job,once again its different from his other movies.Abhay Deol after his series of unconventional movies,has tried a commercial one and that he does with great please.Farhan Akhtar needs special mention here cauz he is the attention seeker in this movie and is simply perfect,yes!he again surprises the audiences with his gigs,poetry,etc.In fact,he is the best among all the other actors.Katrina Kaif not only looks beautiful but also performs well.Kalki Koechlin is as usual,a nice performer!

What's Good?-the road trip to Spain,showcasing the entire touristy spots,the friendly bantering between the friends,emotional growth and bonding in the second half,and all the fun throughout is best!

What's bad?-for this genre of movies,its perfect.Nothing bad until and unless u look for a story or a masala entertainer,its a movie that needs to be only felt!

Overall-Director Zoya Akhtar(of Luck By Chance fame) has taken a great risk of making such a flick which deals with male bonding,road trip,adventure,etc which has been tried by many directors before,but she shows her talent,and of course its the total metamorphosis of bollywood going  throughout these days that it gonna really work!Dialogues of the movie are its USPs,the poetry in between the scenes will take you to another world,u'll love to rewind and play some of the great moments of adventure and songs(like the Doordarshan tune being sung by the actors,all throwing out their fears through water diving,sky diving and the pranks played by the actors).

Music-by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is already a super hit,Senorita,khwabon ke parinday,kab tak ginee hum dhadkane are the songs to be cherished!

Rating-5/5 for its charismatic,real life feel,performance and the smile which leaves behind!Definitely go for it!!!

Performances-Emraan Hashmi is as usual,not so impressive except in the kissing scenes,Jacqueline seems to be bold and beautiful this time but lacks the feel for Bollywood movies,Prashant Narayanan as the villian is superb,in fact in the whole film he is the person to be watched for and also debutant Sulagna Pamigri as Reshma has done her best!

What's Good?- Erotic portion and thrill effect is good,music is best and is already a super hit!

What's Bad?-movie offers nothing so important and interesting in preference to its prequel Murder(2004),story could have been much tighter,sufficient condiments are lacking!

Overall-Director Mohit Suri (of woh lamhe,kalyug fame)has tried many things to offer but it seems story lacks sufficient romance & suspense and so he cant help himself,though Bhatt camp always try to present sex with thrill movies but this time it doesnt seem to be much interesting! it would have been better if the superhit songs were included in the movie and presented with gracious effect.

Rating-2\5, dont have any X-factor to be watched for,prequel Murder was far more better and u definitely miss Mallika Sherawat!
